In order to enable the following reporting, be sure you have set up your Container Schedules.
Daily Missed Pick Up & Predictive Overflow Alerts
By requesting to support@compology.com, you can receive a daily email highlighting the containers that had a missed pick up event and which containers are at risk for overflowing in the near future. This report cross references container pickup schedules with the observed activity from the previous day, in order to say whether pickups are happening according to the specified service schedules. The report also uses historical container fill rates to project whether overflows are expected prior to the next scheduled pickup:
The report groups the containers by severity of impact to the service location, allowing you to prioritize which containers to address first:
Fill Rates and Overflows
Fill rates are estimated per-container, per day-of-week (as fill rates may look quite different on weekdays vs weekends) by looking at how the container has filled historically.
Overflow risk is calculated by adding the expected daily fill change to the current container level, for all days in which a pickup is not scheduled. If the projected level indicates an overflow at any point between now and the next scheduled pickup, then the container is considered at-risk for overflow. If the container is expected to be picked up in that time frame, the projected level resets to zero on the day of the pickup.
Historical Missed Pick Ups
Upon request, you can receive a report highlighting all the pick up events for your containers. You will receive a list of all the scheduled pick ups, missed pick ups, and unscheduled pick ups for a given date range:
