Notifying site managers or waste generators of new contamination via email or SMS is fully automated with our Contamination Notifications feature.

Confirm you have Contamination Notifications Enabled

Under Account ➡️ Settings you should see the feature enabled (if it is disabled, and you would like it enabled, reach out to customersuccess@compology.com).

  • It should be set to a customer support number for your organization.

How to Setup Contamination Notifications

Step 1: From any screen click Customers tab on navigation bar.

Step 2: Select the customer you would like to enroll.

Step 3: Click the blue edit button on the service location you would like to enroll.

Note: Contamination Notifications are enabled at the service location level and each location will need to have the feature enabled individually.

Step 4: Toggle Automated Contamination Messages on and enter in the name and email or mobile number of the person you would like to receive contamination messages for this service location. Click Save.
